Import from a recipe link, pasted text or a photo—or describe a bake you’d like to create. Review the ingredients and method, make it your own, and save it to your recipe box.
AI imports and recipe generation use one credit when a completed draft is returned. Interrupted requests can be recovered. A generated recipe includes a cover illustration when available.

AI-created recipes are not kitchen-tested. Generated covers are illustrations. Check quantities, methods and allergy needs before baking; nutrition figures are estimates, not medical advice.

Online AI requires internet access, Apple or Google sign-in as appropriate, and permission to share the selected content for AI processing.

Which devices can I use?
Oven & Butter is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and Android on Google Play. Check your store listing for device compatibility. iOS currently requires iOS 17 or later.
Do I need an account or internet?
Most core baking tools work locally without an account. Online AI services and AI-credit purchases need the appropriate sign-in and connection. You choose whether to allow AI processing.
Is there cloud sync?
Your saved baking data is stored locally. Use Backup & restore to export and restore local backup files when moving devices. This is not automatic cross-device cloud sync.
What uses an AI credit?
A completed AI import or generated recipe draft uses one credit. Review the result before saving. A generated cover illustration is included when available. Optional credit pack prices are shown by your platform store.
What if a request or purchase is interrupted?
Use the app’s recovery and purchase-restore options with the same sign-in account. If the balance still looks wrong, contact support before buying again.
Can I rely on AI recipes for allergies or medical diets?
No. AI drafts are not kitchen-tested and nutrition values are estimates. Check ingredients, labels and cross-contamination risks yourself, and seek qualified guidance where needed.
